What to Feed and How Much to a 2 Month Old Puppy?

Hi! We just bought a Jack Russel a few days ago and he just turned 2 months old. What should I feed him and how much. He is really small. The place where a I bought the dog said to feed him puppy dog food, about a half a handful three times a day...It seems now that his stomach is big...My friend on the other hand said to give him milk... so I'm confused.

Also, Do puppies at his age always sleep?
