What age does a Jack Russell quit coming in heat?

My JRT should have had her cycle 1 month ago. There is not a worry about her being pregnant. She is 8 yrs. old. I didn't know if they experience a doggie menopause and eventually stop their cycle. If they do, is my dog in this age category or could their be a health concern involved?

I have a lovely jack russell terrier she is 1 year old and is in heat again!i am eager to breed her but there is only one thing the male jack russel seems to be confused this has happened on previous occasions also!just wondering has this ever happened to anyone else
and hopefully someone can give me some advice...
