I have a 5 year old Jack (her name is Lexi) and she is more than a little spoiled. She has a dog huose outside in the fenced in yard that is 8 feet by 8 feet and two stories tall so she can look out the window and see what is going on. However, lately she won't stop peeing in the dog house. I have ignored the behavior, I have scollded doesn't matter she keeps doing it and I don't know what to do anymore or how to solve the problem. It only start 2 weeks ago... but its 2 weeks too long! Please help!!

Why Outside!
by: Maggie

I agree with Anonymous above. Why is she left in a dog house outside!! A Jack Russell needs companionship, and loads of it. They form very stong bonds with their families and should not be left outside. Maybe she is trying to tell you something, for heavens sake allow her inside to be with you where she belongs, problem solved.

How do you know who's doing what when she's out in the yard in a dog house! Do you walk her, take her to the vet? Maybe she has a bladder problem? Jacks are loving, caring, pets and they shouldn't be left in the backyard!
