I know. I know. I should have known before today that there was a name for this mix. Since my Papijack is a rescue puppy from an abandoned JRT, I just felt so lucky to have such a cute and smart dog. She kept me company on the the long drive back to my home in WA from FL and has become my constant companion.

So excited to know that there are more out there. Would love to connect with others that are fortunate to have a papijack in their lives. summerdance24 at yahoo

My dog could be the twin of your dog! At first I thought my 3 yr old Collins was a Jack Russel/Shletie mix but the Papijack looks more like a true match! Thank you for your post!

hi i have a black n white papijack his name is bingo and he is funny/gentle/loving/sweet natured....the best dog ive known...he is 8 months so have loads of time for fun....am looking for another for him to be friends with..its a tough search..wish me luck...

Your dog is adorable. I'm pretty sure the stray I found might be the same mix. Can I ask what your dog weighs? Mine weighs 15 pounds and is a bundle of energy, love, and is the smartest dog I have ever had. So lucky we rescued her from the 115 degree heat that day, but we were even luckier to find such a fabulous dog.
