odd behaviour

my 5year old jack Russel will stand still and just stare into space, or looking down at the floor and does not move, is there something wrong with my dog?

Hello,
No need to worry. My 2 1/2 year old JRT does this. Sometimes it is moping around or they get bored and want to "convince" you that they need a treat or maybe to play with their favorite toy! JRT's are very, very, clever and smart. They figure out ways to manipulate us and get our attention.
So, don't worry, just find that JRT something to do, maybe a new game or toy!
