Nipping Nipper

I've had Molly since December 09 she's now roughly 8months old,I found her 'free to good home',she's nearly house trained as she has access to the cat flap, talking of cats, how can I stop her attacking my 3 cats? the youngest cat fights her back but the 2 eldest ones aren't happy her being here and they all hate each other and when she can get hold of them she really try to hurt them. She's also very 'giddy' and bites me all the time-playfully but it hurts,I've tried the usual stopping petting her as soon as she starts,or putting her back on the floor and ignoring her etc but she'll still bite when she gets the chance.

I've always wanted a JRT and now I'm learning be careful what you wish for lol she is certainly more of a handful than my last dog,Kim,who was mixed JRT I had to say goodbye to her a month before I got Molly,Molly wasn't gotten to replace Kim as no one could but she has eased my heart ache.

Get a colored water bottle and keep water in it. When your dog starts nipping, spray him once and say no! My JRT loved to nip/bite my toes and he is 8 months old. I started spraying him when he nipped my toes and now all I have to do is hold the bottle and he will stop and do something else.

Chew toys and bones help, but you must be the pack leader...much is written...go and read.
