Hello My name is Josh I own a JRT called Jess she is really strong.But when we come near a dog she yaps like mad.Is this normal?

Hello,
She yaps because she's afraid. You need to contiunue to socialize her around more kids, adults and other animals.

It is best to do this at a park where the kids and adults can pet her.

The professionals tell us that it takes 250 encounters with "others", and the best are those that engage our JRT's by petting them.

The best to you and it takes awhile to socialize, but it is imperative for our JRT's and their mixes!
