At what age can you tell if your JRT is going to be a smooth coat or wirehair?

I picked up my Jack at 6 weeks and there was no doubt, out of the litter, he was a rough coat. The ones who were smooth were also obvious. I would say, surely at 6 weeks if not sooner, you can tell what their coat will be like!
