jack russell

hi i have a 3 year old jack Russell dog and my cat has just had kittens and he wont leave the mum alone keeps trying to mount her and he wines all the time and wont settle she has had kittens before and he never took any notice help

Hello,
WOW!! Okay, I would say it's the way your cat smells and you need to keep them separate. Also, you don't want him to hurt the Momma cat or her kittens.
JRT's are smart, yet they never cease to amaze me!
