I Am a Broken Coat Minnie JRT 9 Years Young in August

Hey, who turned on the light?

Hey, who turned on the light?

My name is Daffnee. I love my owners fiercely and don't want anybody else near them! Especially my Mommy! I also growl when even they touch me sometimes; or I stare at them while they sleep and growl at them! This is new for me. I've only been doing it about a year now. I dislike the usual, kids, squirrels, men with baseball caps, big dogs! I road on the back of a big dog one day and tried to wrestle him. I lost that fight. Since then, I attack anything large or small with four legs. I am no longer welcome on long walks in the neighborhood! Besides I can't seem to walk the distance any more with my heart murmur. I would love somebody to tell me how to stop growling at the people I love. When I sleep at the bottom of the bed, and they move so much as a foot, I growl and snap! Help me! Love Daffnee P.S. Did I mention I am extremely smart and cute?

Who's the boss?
by: Bezzie

Your JRT thinks he is the boss. My opinion would be to not allow him to sleep on the bed for a few nights. Put him in a crate for a few nights so he realizes that YOU are the boss. I know it's hard to do, but it is the best interest of Daffnee.

Chill Out
by: Harley

Dear Daphne,

Sounds like your in the same boat as me. My alpha human got me a nice fluffy sheep wool-dog bed which he lines with my favorite blanket and then tucks me in with a fine hand crocheted afghan that my grandma made. I wake refreshed and happy to proceed with being a fun loving JRT.
