How do l stop our $ year old female Jack Russell Getting out ?

How do l stop our 4 year old Jack Russell getting out all the time? Everytime we go away somewhere or are on a day trip our dog always gets out.She has even bitten through the wire on the gates to get out, and now she digs under the gate to get out. How do we stop this?

Our 4 Jacks are crated. It is there home, safe place like a den. Reward them for getting in it and never put them in it to punish them. Theyt bark and whine for a day or 2 but it is a great way to keep them and your stuff safe.
