Feeding Raw
by: Anonymous

You should not feed raw food and kibble at the same meal--they digest at differnt rates--so You could fees raw in the morning before the days exercise which is perfect--and kibble at night.Be sure you are feeding kibble at at least the min. requirement for your dogs weight-there is alot of science behind kibble and you do not want to affect the balance.

ALL NATURAL IS THE WAY TO GO!
by: ScooterMama59

Hello,
So, what does that mean? That means to feed them dog food, wet and dry, that is as close to natural as you can get. I will take and boil raw chicken and pick it off the bone and feed Ginger that. I usually mix it with Natural Royal Canine(sells in Belgium, but don't know about other places). But, you can find all natural just about anywhere, but I would recommend checking the label, to verify what your feeding your JRT is "really" healthy and natural.
Also, I found a very good frozen dog food(soft) that is called FroDog, that you bring home and thaw out in the refrigerator and that is what I add to her Royal Canine food too.
I also cut up carrots, apples(no seeds or skin), cooked potatoes(not raw) and feed them as treats. My Ginger is very healthy and never sick.
Thanks and I hope this helps,
Stef, Belgium, JRT Lover from Texas!
