I live in NYC and want to breed my Jack Russell Max but can't find no one to fix him up with. Any suggestions?

Eddie,

First question you should ask yourself, "why do I want to breed Max"? Answer should only be: To improve the gene pool. Does max conform to the strict standard, has he been Cerf'd and Baer Tested and clear, is he clear of Brucellosis? Do you have people that have left you a deposit for a puppy so you know they are serious? Do you have the money put aside for a stud fee? It is unusual for someone with the male to go looking for a female as the owner of the female has all the work and expense of a litter. If Max is a great dog that is registered as a breeding/show dog then what you should be looking for is a female of great quality to purchase and raise and then use her as your female to breed to. You really can't just ask someone to take all the responsibility and expense for a litter if you don't contribute and just want to take a puppy from the litter. That is not how it works. You need to do some research before you venture into these deep waters. Breeding is not as easy as you think it is.
