Border Jackchi?

Quinto our cutie :)

Quinto our cutie :)

That pic looks very similar to the pup we adopted from the shelter. We were told he was a border collie chihuahua mix. But as he ages, he shows traits of being a Jack Russell (facial whiskers, hind legs, jumping) with some chi features (pointy ears, thin tail, small stature). He could be a tri-mix but so far, none of the border traits are coming through at all. :( We still love and adore him but we were so used to the innate obedience and eager to please nature of a border that this JRT is a challenge. Headstrong and stubborn--but ADORABLE!

The ears NEW
by: Lori

I read from this site's posting of the standards for Jack Russells that the ears should be "dropped" ears.

Now that Quinto is older, his body type is presenting more and more with Jack traits..except for those ears.
