bed training

i have a 1 year old male jack and i use to crate him at night when he was little at bedtime and now he is use to sleeping in my bed and i want that to stop. i have a dog bed for him and hes used it in his crate. i want him to be able to sleep in his bed outside of his crate on the floor where ever i put it and not sneak into bed with my boyfriend and i. he's very snugly and affectionate and yes i baby him probably way to much but i want him to sleep in his lil doggy bed like a big boy. please help me. thanks. sincerely : a stubborn lil jack's mommy!
