Attacking our other dog

Comments or Inquiries here:: I have a 5 year old JRT and a <1 year old Choc Lab. When ever we discipline the lab or if the Lab gets hurt and "yipes" my JRT goes on the attack. She immediately starts biting and latching onto my lab and ferociously attacking her. Is this normal and something to do with their "hunting" nature? What can I do to remedy this?

I have the same problem
by: Anonymous

I have a 6 yr old female JRT and a 9 mo old male JRT and they fight so badly that I cannot have them together in the same room! They fight like they are going to kill each other and it is very scary because we always have to break them up and one of these times they are going to bite us. I am afraid we are going to have to get rid of one of them! My female is definitely the aggressor and she always growls at the male no matter what. Our house is total chaos and we shouldn't have to walk around on egg shells around our dogs. Sorry for no advice, just wanted you to know we are in the same boat. :0(
