question about all over hair loss

Hi,

I have a 5 yr old unfixed female Jack, short hair. She has recently started shedding evenly all over body and face to the point that we can see her mottled skin markings through her hair not just when she's been bathed or thoroughly wet. shes not scratching or itching, does not have fleas, no sores anywhere, just losing more hair than ever before. We have moved to a home where she has lawn rather than patio. She never sits, lies or rolls in the grass, just dashes around on lead. could she have a grass allergy? We haven't changed food, soaps, carpets or furniture. She has been rolling on the same carpet as much as usual.
