My puppy occasionally walks with only three legs.

I just recently adopted a puppy from a pet store. And I've found out that my 8-month old puppy occasionally walks with only three legs. What's wrong with her. She seems hurt and she doesn't want to walk, jump or run when this problem occurs. What should I do? I am very worried about it.

Puppy walking on only 3 legs?
by: ScooterMama59

Dear Wayne,
Which leg is it? In the front or back? This is not OK! I would take your puppy to the VET right away. The pup could have injured it and without an x-ray you would not know where or how bad it might be.
It could be just a sprain, but again, without your VET checking it out, you won't know.
Many VETS have great hearts and will even let you set-up a payment plan to pay for their services. The pup should be looked at now because the bones are still growing. A problem like this, that goes untreated, can last a lifetime for the pup and I know you wouldn't want that.
Please, let me know how things go.
