Sugar and Santa Paws

Sugar and Santa Paws

We saw her picture on myspace by the homeless shelter that had her and other dogs. It was love at first sight for all of us. We live in Minnesota and she was in Virginia. Before we could adopt her she had to be treated for a severe case of Heartworm. We waited and she came through like a little champion. We adopted her, and she was on her way here via Operation Roger, truckers that volunteer to take animals to their forever homes. It took a month and a half to get here, but she finally arrived November 17th, 2008. She is our little treasure. We love her so much, and so glad we could give her a forever home. From going being tied up in a dump to us, is one long leap. We will love her forever.

Update on Sugar
by: Konrad Family

Sugar is still a part of our family. We just recently moved to Butler, TN. We will be able to meet Kayla, Bree and Paula who helped her when she was homeless. She and our doxy, Angel are best buds.

So sweet
by: Tessa

That was such a touching story, tears literally wailed up in my eyes. It's great to see people like you that care for animals in such an extreme way! I applaud you and I'm very happy you and your family got Sugar! She's a lucky pup!

Happy
by: HollywoodGirl

Sugar,

I have been tracking your story. When you finally got to your forever home, I thought that was your happy ending, but your story just keeps getting better. I'm so happy that you found one another. It's always nice to hear a great story like yours.
