Wetting NEW
by: ARebecanonymous

Your dog needs to be checked by a vet. I have an almost 15 year old russell female. She never urinates in the house when she is awake. As she sleeps, she wets herself and her bedding.

My vet gave me medication that helps somewhat but she continues to do this occasionally. If you determine that your dog doesn't have a urinary track infection or other physical cause for this problem, the only thing you can do is keep your dog in areas that are easily cleaned up or cover the area with plastic that can be easily rinsed.

THAT IS NOT TYPICAL AT THIS AGE!
by: ScooterMama

Hello,
This is not typical for a 7 year old dog to do.
I would take him to the VET and have him examined as soon as I could.

Please let us know how things go.
It could be a bladder infection or something else that the VET will be able to treat.
