As to a response to your question, my Annie was very disappointingly born with not just prick ears but -- HORSE EARS! They must be 4 inches long!
I don't know of any thing you can do, but, while Annie would look so beautifully classic with the fold-forward ears (instead of Yoda), I find I caress those big ears a lot.
And it's very soothing to both of us.
