Peeing blood after playing fetch

I have a Jack Russel Terrier/Fox Terrier mix, and after he plays fetch, he pee's blood. He only pee's blood after he runs a lot. Other than that, his pee is fine. What's wrong with him?

Peeing blood!!!!!

I would certainly get him checked out ASAP as he could have an internal injury, and left unchecked could be really dangerous, better safe than sorry, after all we all know any loss of body blood should be investigated, please let us know how you get on.Good Luck.

One of two things is happening here!

Hello,
Either your very active dog has injured his kidney or he is just over playing and needs to play less.
This mix breed is very hyper and needs to rest sometimes. They are like the energizer bunny and will go forever.
If this bleeding doesn't stop after you try the above, I would highly recommend that you take him into the VET for an examination.

Best to you and poochie,
