I have a 5 month old Jack and he started to get new spots as he got older and his colour started to change as well. He use to be black and red but now he has traces of black in his coat. It is very normal. You will also find that he will start to get black spots on his skin that you will see through his white coat.

Yes and yes, this is Jack Russell markings and he's going to get more and more spots the older he gets. I actually think it's pretty. Very distinctive of your typical JRT.
