I just adopted a 2 year old JRT from our local SPCA. He seems to be the most loving and sweet dog. I'm just curious as to how i can let him know that i am the pack leader here in his new home before this very intelligent and strong minded breed possibly takes the lead in our home! I dont know a whole lot about dogs and i tend to be an extreme affection givier! I love tons of snuggling and kisses and so does Willie! I just want to know exactly how to be a loving owner but the leader of this house as well. Any feedback is much appreciated!
