losing weight

I have a jack chi he is one years old I got her from a friend about 2 months ago..When i first got her she was a little chubby and they fed her one time a day..Here she eats twice usually and she has lost a lot of weight is that normal she does get a lot of exercise now then she stayed in a lot where she came from is her weight lost normal
