my daughter has 2 jrt the 5 yo female will viciously attack the 2 yo female. i witnessed this tonight. even when the 2 yo turned over on it's back to summit the 5 yo attacked. with my kicking the 5 yo and my daughter hitting her with a broom she continued to attack. she would bite down and twist her head trying to tear the puppy

my son-in-law says that's just jrt when they get mad but this dog fought with two other dogs they had 3 yrs ago. my fear is this jrt will "get mad" with my 3 yo grandson. what do you think could or should be done?

Don't ever hit them when they fight, a bucket of water over their heads will stun them long enough for you to split them up.

Love your older JR

please dont be cruel to the older dog, she needs love and care, take her to one side, SPLIT THEM UP, treat her when she is good, you need to deal with this. I could gone on, but you you really need to get some help, ask your vet to recommend someone. But do something. If I could take the dog, I would, and train it, as I have a JR who also showed these signs, but is a lot calmer now.
