JRT and laying on me

Every morning before my husband gets up our JRT "spartacus" crawls over top of me stepping on me and then sometimes he will lay on top of me and just whine until one of us gets up. But I don't understand why he only does it to me.... is it because my husband had him before I moved in and I stole his spot in the bed? I am worried because I am pregnant and I know he cant hurt the baby but its still uncomfortable. thank you
