Jack Russell Terrier

Why are the whole top of ears turning white? It does not appear to bother him. It looks like its wearing off.

Hello,
I guess the first thing I would ask is: how old is the dog? Older dogs turn grey in these area. Also, was this acquired while outside? Many times our JRT's/mixes get into things that wear off in a few days. Examples: flowers/brush/trees/dirty areas etc...

As long as the area does not turn into a sore or become infected, I would opt for washing it off and seeing if it comes back. Becomes a sore/infected VET should be seen.

Please let me know how things go, if things change.
