I am just not sure about her, because of her ears. In every aspect, she is 110%!

Thanks,

Do you think this is a Jack Russell

by Cindy
(Tuscaloosa, Alabama)

He is tall for a Jack Russell (even a long legged JR) and his ears are a little longer and his eyes are a light golden brown but the shelter told us he was full blooded Jack Russell. His coat is also freckled along with having the regular JR spots.

Is it or isn't it ????
by: MaureenAnonymous

My guess is it is a JRT. I have a pedigree female JRT, (Roxie) and a pedigree Male JRT, (Bandit) who produced a litter of 2. The female puppy, Izzie is a JRT right down the line. Height, weight and short legs, not real short legs but still short enough. Now, the male puppy, that is another story. I swear he has a recessive gene, from what I don't know. He is huge, 27 pounds, looong body, small beautiful face and shorter legs than the female pup. His name is Jake but we call him "Clemenza" (remember the Godfather movie "Clemenza") Anyway, we can not figure him out. If I didn't see him whelped I would not believe he came from Roxie. I love the breed. They are the most wonderful pets.

JRT ???????
by: maureenAnonymous

My female JRT, Roxie, and my male JRT, Bandit are the parents of a little female and a male with a recessive gene I swear. She is 13 lbs. and he is approaching 30 lbs. He is huge. If I didn't witness his birth from my own JRT's I could not be convinced that he was a pedigree JRT. He is the cutest puppy, 6 months old, short to medium length legs, a rather long body and a small head. Not really small but small for his body. We can't believe it. When I learn how to put a photo on line I will post it. We call him "JAKE". We call him a number of different names but Jake seems to stick. He is like a little teddy bear. Huge paws and the cutest face with the most expressive eyes.
