Your JRT thinks he is the boss. My opinion would be to not allow him to sleep on the bed for a few nights. Put him in a crate for a few nights so he realizes that YOU are the boss. I know it's hard to do, but it is the best interest of Daffnee.

Dear Daphne,
Sounds like your in the same boat as me. My alpha human got me a nice fluffy sheep wool-dog bed which he lines with my favorite blanket and then tucks me in with a fine hand crocheted afghan that my grandma made. I wake refreshed and happy to proceed with being a fun loving JRT.
