Itching jack russell

My girl Lucy is a long haired jr. She is 13 years old. She is allergic to so many different foods. One single treat and she is broken out everywhere. I feed her blue buffalo chicken recipe. I found that grains or corn cause her the worst reaction and this food keeps her from itching 95 percent of the time

Scratching & licking

My Jack has allergies which is common for this breed... Grass is one of them and I have also found out she can't eat fillers in her food such as corn, wheat, grains gluten and anything synthetic such as store bought (plastic type)chewies for teeth and entertainment. I have tried veggie (without corn) dry dog food and it's the same..also I was informed to stay away for RED meat. She is on a steroid type medication which helps.. No rash but she still scratches some and licks...I'm today going to try her on a can food with NO additives. If this works she is comming off her meds because it makes her drink a lot and therefore pees a lot. Do not over bath her/him.. Only once a month. Make sure the shampoo has NO perfumes and is mild.. A natural shampoo is better. Good Luck!
