Susie lied and told horrific dog training stories
by: Anonymous

Bad breeder. Liar and thief. I am so sad to see others stories on here. I thought it was just me that was scammed and misled by the Mullins. Wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but simply can't after reading the experiences others shared.

We bought our JRT puppy from Susie in April 2012 and had a great experience! We traveled from Wyoming to get our puppy. Susie was great from the start! And our little girl is such a joy in our family. I'm sorry to hear about the bad experiences with Susie but ours was great.

I have tried to e-mail her with no response. I purchased a puppy from Susie in late September, 2012. He was recently diagnosed with cerebellar ataxia. I found a You Tube video on-line about another dog purchased from her who had the same disease, and from his pedigree that was also posted we found that our dog is a direct relation to him as well. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing a puppy from her. It is unfortunate that she continued to breed puppies from dogs with a defective gene after the knowledge of the other dog's disorder. Our puppy will be 1 year old tomorrow. We don't know how much longer he will make it, but are treasuring every day we have with him.

I have been trying to reach Susie for quite some time and this is what I found. We purchased a puppy 31/2 years ago. She and her husband divorced, she has moved and he had no idea where she went? He suggested to try her on her email. Has anyone out there tried that avenue? Cindy

Great Dog/Poor time with breeder
by: Anonymous

I purchased my JRT from Susie Mullins in 2010. I started having health issues with my dog toward the end of that year and attempted many times to contact the Susie to see if there was history of similar issues so I would know how to treat her since the vets were having trouble finding the cause of her problems. I never received any response, even though I called, left messages and emailed for over a year. My dog is still having issues and I am paying over $1000 per year in vet bills and cannot get ahold of the breeder for any useful information.
