our 16 month spayed jack russell is showing strange behavior. she just wants to be outside all the time in the freezing weather sitting by the gate. either just looking out gate or starring down garden. soon as we bring her in she wants to go back out. she's not playing, ears are back and tail between her legs. she trembles and whimpers when you bring her in. Any ideas?

Walk?

Long walks are so important for Jacks. Do you walk the dog every day, then play with her also?
She just wants some vigorous activity, probably. It it's real cold, her feet may get frostbitten.
You can try agility, if you are so inclined, but they really need lots of activity!
