Biter
by Sue
Sally My female, spayed, JRT tries to eat my grandson alive. He is 7 years old and she is 10 months old. She is very nervous around strangers or people she does not see often. My grandson is afraid of her, and I would like for them to be friends. He can run and play outside with her more than I can and I know she would love that. I have gone so far as to put her in doggie day care when they come to visit. I know this is not a solution, rather a stopgap measure. I have tried crating her, used the water spray when I tell her no, held her. The funny thing is when I put her on a leash, in the house, and hold the leash she calms down and quits barking and growling. What's with that?
