2 year old JR alone

My working schedule has changed and I will have to leave my JR alone Mon-Fri for 7-8 hours. I am going to walk him and exercise him for an hour in the morning before I leave and after I come back. He is a very well behaved dog and never had any problems with him. I guess my question for you is, will he be ok?
