Our JRT Eva went on heat at about 8 months old , but not since, and she is now 18 months old. Otherwise perfectly healthy. Regards

Hello,
Eva is fine. This is not that uncommon with smaller dogs. Sometimes the heat is so minute and the poochie keeps herself very clean, that you don't even notice it.
If she doesn't come into heat within the next 3 to 6 months, then I would have her looked at by the VET.
